Pupil Voice
Trust Pupil Parliament.
Each year two children are elected to be our representatives on the Trust Pupil Parliament, which meets each half-term. The Trust Parliament are given specific priorities to work on throughout the year. This year it is to include pupil voice in the selection of resources and to support saving energy and reducing costs at home and school.
Our Trust Parliamentarians have discussed their ideas with the Headteacher, talked in a whole school assembly, spoken to School Council and got feedback from the children about both ideas so far this year.
Head Boy and Head Girl
School Council
Our School Council are chosen democratically by the children in school, to represent them. School Council meets regularly and talk to their classes to get feedback, ideas and suggestions to put forward. They also meet regularly with school staff to give feedback and make sure Pupil Voice is heard and shared. School Council have created and presented school assemblies on topics such as Anti-bullying and Mental Health too.
Subject Ambassadors
Subject Ambassadors represent pupil voice in relation to the subjects we cover in the curriculum in school. They ask questions about subjects, help gather feedback about ideas and suggestions from their classes and across school.
Reading Ambassadors
Our Reading Ambassadors help support and celebrate reading across school, participate in raising the profile of reading in a variety of ways and lead at Book Fair each year.
