It is our intent that phonics will be delivered via a highly structured programme of daily lessons. Holley Park Academy show fidelity to the Little Wandle: Letters and Sounds Revised validated programme. This is a full early reading programme incorporating daily phonic sessions and three weekly reading practice sessions. In Nursery pupils will start phonics by exploring the 'Foundations of Phonics' before starting phase 2 of the programme in reception. Children will continue the into Year 1.
